Terms of Use

Who we are

The Natarta app and natarta.com are operated by Natarta (“Natarta”, “we” or “us”). By using the app or this website, you agree to these terms. Contact: support.natarta@gmail.com.

Using Natarta

Natarta is free to use for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don’t misuse it, attempt to disrupt it or use it to harm others.

A helper, not a guarantee

Natarta is a helper, not a guarantee. It gives its best assessment: “Likely scam”, “Be careful” or “Looks OK”. No checker is perfect. Scams change fast, and a “Looks OK” result does not promise something is safe. Natarta does not rate news; it points you to fact-checkers and trusted outlets.

Before sending money or personal details, check with the company or person using a number or app you already trust, and ask someone you trust.

Not professional advice

Natarta is not legal, financial or law-enforcement advice. If you lost money or think you were scammed, contact your bank right away and report it at reportfraud.ftc.gov or ic3.gov.

Alerts, headlines and outside sources

Scam alerts are headlines from official public sources such as the FBI, CISA, the Justice Department and local governments. Trusted headlines come from the public feeds of news outlets and fact-checkers. FCC and FTC complaint counts come from the agencies’ public data and reflect reports, not proof; caller ID can be faked, and a number’s carrier and area show only where it was first issued. We link to the originals, don’t write or change them and can’t promise they are complete or current.

Intellectual property

The Natarta name and logo, the app, the website, and their design, text, graphics, checks, lists and code are owned by Natarta and protected by copyright and trademark law. © 2026 Natarta. We give you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to use the app and website as we offer them. Unless the law allows it or we agree in writing, you may not copy, republish or redistribute Natarta’s content, design or code; scrape or bulk-download it; reverse engineer, decompile or extract its code or lists; resell, rent or sublicense it; or make lookalike apps or websites, or use our name or logo in a way that could make people think you are Natarta or work with us.

We may suspend access, send takedown notices (including under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act) and take legal action to protect Natarta and the people who rely on it.

Copyright complaints and impersonation

Think something in Natarta copies your work, or found an app or website copying or pretending to be Natarta? Email support.natarta@gmail.com with your name and contact details, the work involved, a link to where the copy is, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized, a statement that your notice is accurate and that you own the work or may act for its owner, and your typed name as a signature.

Tips and the Guardian badge

Tips are voluntary gifts to support Natarta. They don’t buy any product, feature or service, and are generally not refundable. The Guardian badge is a thank-you on the honor system: it does not confirm a payment and has no monetary value. Payments are processed by our payment processor under its terms. If you tipped by mistake, email us and we’ll do our best to help.

Open-source credits

Natarta uses free and open resources, credited in About & credits, under their own licenses.

Limits of liability

Natarta is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that result from relying on a result. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change. Questions? Email support.natarta@gmail.com.

Independent

Natarta is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any government agency, city, bank, carrier or company whose name may appear in a check.
